Trees come well protected in a box that can double as storage.
The lights are powered by LR44 (3) for each tree. There is a tab (causing an open circuit) between the batteries that must be pulled out for them to work.
I like the way the ceramic illuminates when lit, they are warm and look very classy.
My only gripe is that the light does not have a timer and is only on or off, which makes it easy to exhaust the LR44 cells.
For the price, they are great value however.

The trees arrive securely packaged in a box that can also serve as storage. Each tree is powered by three LR44 batteries, and there is a tab between the batteries that needs to be removed to complete the circuit. I appreciate how the ceramic glows warmly when lit; it adds a classy touch. My only complaint is that the light lacks a timer and can only be switched on or off, which can quickly drain the LR44 batteries. Nonetheless, they offer excellent value for the price.
