This is quite small, but, if you think of it as a christmas tree bread and butter plate, it works well. How it happened for me was I was using it on a charcuterie place setting, and one person used it for her bread and butter knife, spread and cocktail bread etc. It just adds a bit of class to the table. I was disappointed in the size as I was expecting it to be larger, but it has really worked out. On the table you could add a few raspberries, or other light fruits as palete cleanser, a few candies for after dinner, something clever. It is ideal for many things. I purchased two, and now I am adding two more to my set. It has worked out beautifully, unexpected.

This small Lenox Holiday Bowl is the perfect size to sit out on the coffee table with individually wrapped Christmas candy in it. The holly leaves and berries are a nice clean design, that can be left out throughout the winter season. The Lenox Company manufactures hefty well made dishes and serving pieces, and this bowl is an inexpensive way to try them out. So,if you decide to use it as a regular bowl (they do make actual candy dishes) do not put it in the microwave,(It has 24 karat gold trim). This year I’m sending this bowl, along with a bag of gourmet candy, to my elderly neighbor who is now in a nursing home. Last year we gifted a similar design to my 92yr old MIL along with a heated throw blanket, and she commented on the high quality of the porcelain. Don’t forget to register your Lenox purchase, it comes with a lifetime warranty from the company.

Beautiful and heavy. Colors are really pretty, nice and bright. Securely packed tightly in styrofoam in a beautiful Lenox box. Great for your own holiday feast / game day or perfect as a Gift.
I almost didn’t buy this tray because it looked like the dip bowl was attached. I wanted the bowl to not be attached so I could put just the dip in the fridge.
Luckily, someone left a comment stating the bowl is separate. No one seems to have left any comments about the size of the bowl. It seems to me a 16 oz tub of sour cream would fit in the dip bowl perfectly. It measures 4.5″ across x 3″ height, the same size as a sour cream tub used for one pkg of ranch dip. Plenty of room for a bag of chips around the dip bowl which is approx. 3″ deep x 12.5″ across.
This will be a great addition to the holiday festivities.

Hard to please elder in laws approved. Father in law loves trains and mother in law often exceptionally entertains.
If they later approve photo, will add to review, but it was impressive and worth a higher price than I had to pay, which always makes the day. Boxed and shipped impeccably all things considered especially. Worth up to $200, but definitely gag at $300 retail point. I paid about $100. Thanks. She kept it displayed buffet dinners all season.
