I have five cats of my own and I also foster. The year prior my 7 foot artificial Christmas tree became a cat tree despite my best efforts. At the end of the season, only half of the lights on the tree worked and my smallest foster had taken up residence at the top. So, Christmas 2024 looked a little different. We knew we needed a smaller tree that they couldn’t scale. This fit the bill and fit our Adult Goth(tm) aesthetic. Beyond easy to assemble (like, just take it out of the box and plug it in), cute, lights are beautiful, and tucks away easily to be used next year.
Were the cats pleased? No. Were the humans? Immensely. Merry Catmas.

Stunning pink tree. Not sure about battery life because it’s easier for me to test it by USB. The base has LED lights and fiber optic filaments go through the tree all over. Different colors appear on the ends of each branch. It seems simple, but there must have been quite a lot of planning to get the colors evenly distributed over the entire tree. It changes colors slowly, and even the star on top glitters with the color changes. The base changes colors too, and only part of it. I’m not sure if they intended that. I’m guessing a future upgrade will feature a new base.
Set up was simple enough, but hard on my old hands. At the top, there is another row of branches that are easily missed. They were absolutely flat against the center and I wasn’t sure they were there until I found one, then I could only feel, not see, the next one, and so on.
Once I set it up I decided not to smash it again to put it away. It’s small enough to store open. The one aspect that concerns me a bit is that it’s a little top heavy. It’s sturdy enough unless you bump into it. But if I’m storing it open I worry that over the year it might get moved around. I’m going to cover it with a bag so it doesn’t get dusty too.
Excellent value, this was my first try of the haul feature of Amazon.

Absolutely beautiful pink tree! I’m unsure about the battery life since I prefer testing it with USB. The base features LED lights, and fiber optic strands run throughout the tree, displaying different colors at the tips of each branch. It may seem straightforward, but a significant amount of planning must have gone into ensuring the colors are evenly spread across the tree. The colors change gradually, and even the star on top sparkles along with the color transitions. The base also changes colors, though only partially, which may not have been the initial intention. I suspect a future upgrade might include a new base.
Setting it up was relatively easy, but challenging for my older hands. There’s an additional row of branches at the top that can easily be overlooked; they were completely flat against the center, and I only realized they were there after discovering one—I could only feel, not see, the next one, and so forth.
Once I had it set up, I decided not to disassemble it for storage since it’s compact enough to keep open. However, I’m a bit concerned that it feels somewhat top-heavy. It’s stable unless bumped, but if I leave it open for the year, I’m worried it might be moved around. I’ll cover it with a bag to keep it dust-free.
Overall, excellent value! This was my first experience using Amazon’s haul feature.

I love how pretty this tree is – the branches look square ended and fake BUT you can’t tell when the lights are on. We bought a few packs of mini ornaments and ribbon to put on the tree and I love how much it added to my Christmas decorations. It brightens up a dimly lit room and is the perfect size for a tabletop or shelf. Does not fall over, is easy to use and works very well! It comes with a USB cable and a wall brick to convert it to a wall outlet.
