I bought the Pearlized Green tree for my wife. Her grandmother and my mother had one, so this is something to remember them by and a nice mix of old and new. The Pearlized version is fired with a different glaze and has a nice sheen to it. I bought this version because the colors looked a little darker in the pictures, which I thought looked better. The light green that represents the bottom of the branches/needles is a bit lighter than I expected, but still looks nice. The daylight photo might make it look a little more white than it is in person, but it’s not. That’s just the sheen from the Pearlized glaze reflecting.
I’d like to address some of the biggest complaints in the reviews. They did make me nervous about this purchase, but as it turns out, I don’t think they’re as bad as some made them out to be.
1) One of the biggest complaints was the light bulb not being bright enough. Maybe this is a newer design, but we got the kind with 2 bulbs, just as it’s pictured in the product photos. One bulb socket is placed atop a metal “bar” attached to the bottom bulb socket, so it reaches higher in the tree and lights the top and star. These 2 bulbs may not be the brightest in the world, but I think they do just fine. Some have also complained that they don’t last. Well, think of all the battery operated products that you buy that don’t even come with batteries. Or come with cheap, generic batteries that don’t last. This isn’t much different. If we get this tree out next year and the bulbs still work, I’d say it’s a success. But if they don’t last long, I don’t mind because nightlight bulbs aren’t expensive.
2) Some people complained about the styrofoam packaging falling apart and making a mess. Only a couple tiny pieces came off when removing the tree from the styrofoam, far from being a mess. It’s possible they’ve improved the packaging.
3) A couple reviews made note of some holes that are drilled into the ceramic that are much larger than the colored “bulbs.” I did notice this, too, but you can only see it if you’re up close and looking hard enough. The “bulbs” in these larger holes are not loose because of the glue. Speaking of the glue, someone also made note of some of the glue being visible. Yes, there are a few holes with visible glue. But it’s fairly clear and, again, can only be seen from up close. No one is going to be looking at this thing from a foot away, inspecting every inch. Once you get a few feet away or farther, none of these flaws (if you can call them that) can be seen.
4) I noticed one or two reviews that said the star did not fit snugly in the top of the tree. Ours came with a clear rubber sleeve around the bottom point of the star that made it fit snugly in the top hole. If yours did not have this, first look in the package and inside the baggie the star and cord came in. If not, then you could probably remedy this with any small piece of rubber, like a rubber band wrapped around the bottom point of the star to get it to fit snugly in the hole.
Do I have any complaints? Nothing major. I wish the Holly design on the base of the tree had some color to it to make it stand out more, but when it’s dark and lit up, that’s not an issue. Also, there’s a small cut-out that straddles the power cord and allows the base to sit flat. If the Holly represents the front of the tree, then this cut-out (and cord) are not positioned directly opposite the Holly. They’re a bit to one side. If the Holly is at the 6 o’clock position, then the cord sticks out the back at the 11 o’clock. It’d be nice if that was set directly behind the Holly. But since the Holly isn’t very visible from afar anyway, you can center the cord to the back if you want.
I’ve rated the “Durability” with 3 stars, but only because it is a fragile decoration. Aside from being ceramic, you should be gentle with the colored “bulbs” to make sure they don’t break off.
I’m so glad I bought this for my wife. She loves it and so do I. It’s a welcome addition to our Christmas and honors a couple loved ones we’ve lost.

I initially ordered a tree from a different company via Amazon, but I was so dissatisfied with it that I returned it right away. I then decided to purchase this tree, which arrived a day early and was worth the extra expense. I ended up spending about $20 more on this one, and I absolutely love it. It was well packaged and is truly perfect. I highly recommend this product over the cheaper alternatives. It turns out, “you get what you pay for.”

I purchased the Pearlized Green tree for my wife as a way to honor her grandmother and my mother, both of whom had similar trees. It beautifully blends nostalgia with a modern touch. The Pearlized version has a unique glaze that gives it a lovely sheen. I chose this variant because the colors appeared darker in the images, which I preferred. The light green at the bottom of the branches is a bit lighter than I anticipated, but it still looks great. The daylight photo may make it seem whiter than it is, but that’s just the reflection from the Pearlized glaze.
I’d like to address some common concerns raised in other reviews that initially made me hesitant about this purchase, but I believe they’re not as significant as some have suggested.
1) One major complaint was regarding the brightness of the light bulbs. Perhaps it’s a newer design, but ours came with two bulbs as shown in the product photos. One socket is situated on a metal “bar” connected to the lower socket, allowing it to illuminate the top and star of the tree. While these bulbs may not be the brightest, I think they work well enough. Some reviewers mentioned they don’t last long, but consider how many battery-operated products you buy that don’t even include batteries or come with cheap ones. If we use this tree again next year and the bulbs still function, I’d consider it a win. If they don’t last, I won’t mind since nightlight bulbs are inexpensive.
2) A few people complained about the styrofoam packaging breaking apart and creating a mess. I only had a couple of tiny pieces come off when taking the tree out, far from a mess. They may have improved the packaging.
3) Some reviews pointed out larger holes drilled into the ceramic that are bigger than the colored “bulbs.” I noticed this as well, but they’re only visible up close. The “bulbs” fit securely in these holes thanks to the glue. Speaking of glue, a few spots are indeed visible, but they’re clear and not noticeable unless you’re inspecting it closely. No one will be looking at it from just a foot away. From a distance, these minor flaws are not apparent.
4) I saw one or two reviews stating that the star didn’t fit snugly at the top of the tree. Ours had a clear rubber sleeve at the bottom of the star that ensured a tight fit. If yours doesn’t have this, check the package and the bag with the star and cord. If it’s missing, you could use a small piece of rubber, like a rubber band, to help it fit better.
Do I have any complaints? Nothing major. I wish the Holly design on the base of the tree had more color to make it stand out, but that’s not a problem when it’s dark and lit up. There’s also a small cut-out for the power cord to allow the base to sit flat, but it’s not directly opposite the Holly. If the Holly is at the 6 o’clock position, the cord comes out the back at the 11 o’clock. It would be better if it were directly behind the Holly, but since the Holly isn’t very visible from afar, you can center the cord in the back if desired.
I rated the “Durability” as 3 stars simply because it is a fragile decoration. Being ceramic, you should handle the colored “bulbs” gently to avoid breakage.
I’m really glad I bought this for my wife. She loves it, and so do I. It’s a wonderful addition to our Christmas decor and honors a couple of loved ones we’ve lost.

So I was a child when ceramic tabletop christmas trees were a thing, but no nostalgia for me (my parents never had one). Nonetheless, I thought it would be a cool addition to my home and recently bought a battery operated one a month ago. That one is pretty, and LED, but it uses batteries like crazy (even reusable eneloops) and picking the tree up and flipping it over everytime i want to turn it on is annoying (the timer was only for four hours so that wasn’t great).
Anyway, with that backstory, i decided to look for a plug-in tree on amazon. This one had great reviews, but some complained that the lights had broken off or the star was missing, etc. I have no such complaints. The tree arrived in great condition. A couple of the lights weren’t connected to the tree, but they were loose in the bag the tree was in inside the box. I popped the lights back in and if i wanted to stabilize them i could put some glue. Glue isn’t necessary though, since the tree isn’t moving around much.
I love the two nightlight bulbs; they get bright enough so that the whole tree is lit up. The darker colored lights, like blue, red and purple, stand out less than the yellow and orange so that from far away, it looks disproportionately orange and yellow. But up close, no problems. And, since the lights can be removed (some have more glue than others to it would take extra patience to remove them), I imagine I could replace them if the darker colored lights really bothered me. For now, they don’t.
All-in-all, a great value tree. I definitely recommend.

I didn’t have any nostalgia for ceramic tabletop Christmas trees since my parents never owned one, but I thought it would be a nice addition to my home. I recently purchased a battery-operated one, which is pretty and uses LEDs, but it drains batteries quickly (even with reusable Eneloops), and flipping it over to turn it on was quite annoying due to the short four-hour timer.
With that in mind, I searched for a plug-in tree on Amazon and found one with great reviews, although some customers mentioned issues like broken lights or a missing star. Fortunately, my tree arrived in perfect condition. A few lights were detached but were included in the bag, and I easily reinserted them. If needed, I could use glue to stabilize them, but it’s not necessary since the tree remains stationary.
I really like the two nightlight bulbs, which illuminate the entire tree nicely. The darker colors like blue, red, and purple are less prominent than the yellow and orange, making the tree appear overly orange and yellow from a distance. However, this isn’t an issue up close. The removable lights allow for potential replacement if I ever want to change the darker ones, but for now, they don’t bother me.
Overall, this tree is a fantastic value, and I highly recommend it.
